About TIW

We’re so glad you’re here! Maybe our name has caused you to ask a question or two!

Like, ”Who would want to be imperfect?!”
Or, ”Do they think being imperfect is a good thing?”
The truth is…None of us is perfect. Only God is. The Bible is very clear on this.
And we’re OK with that. We learned a long time ago that it’s exhausting and impossible to try to pretend that we’ve got it all together.
Besides, we weren’t fooling anyone except ourselves!Everyone around us could see that we weren’t perfect…and they loved us anyway because they could see our hearts.
We love people: our husbands, our kids, our extended families, our neighbors. And we have a special spot in our hearts for our sisters in Christ who are on this journey, too.
If you’re here, you’re probably striving to have Christ’s love flow through you in the most important human relationship you have…the one with your husband.
We know you’re like us.We make mistakes…. regularly.We pray, do our best, mess up sometimes, apologize, repent, learn from those mistakes (hopefully the first time!) and carry on to try again.
We want you to have a place where you can come and join us without all the pretenses. We love to rejoice when we get it right. We want to rejoice with you, too!
But…we want you to feel loved, accepted, and understood when you get it wrong. We want you to know that everyone gets it wrong sometimes, but it’s not the end of the world!God is bigger than our mistakes. He loves us and He’s a good Dad!
Paul says it best in 2 Corinthians 12:9:

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

God doesn’t want to sweep our imperfections or weaknesses under the rug and simply ignore them.He wants us to allow Him to let His grace flow through us and let His power be shown in us.
But we don’t stop here. The heart of The Imperfect Wives is:
♥ To inspire wives through God’s Word to fight to save their marriages, no matter the circumstances.
♥ To disciple women to be proactive in their faith by teaching God’s truths about marriage and who He created them to be, allowing them to fully experience the life God designed them to live.
So, if you’re looking for some hope…A great deal of encouragement…A good dose of the Word of God….A lot of laughter…Loads of inspiration…Honesty and candid assessments…Join us here and let’s grow together!
With love and prayers,
Cherie, Rebecca, Kim, and the whole Imperfect Wives Team
